Sunny skies, live music, games, a hog roast and a beer tent – it must be The Shelford Feast!
Sunday, 14 July saw 3000 people turn out for the highlight of the village year. An important fundraising event – last year’s raised an astonishing £27,000 for local good causes – we supported this year’s Feast by setting up a Parochial Charities stall featuring a Christmas card design competition. Very unseasonal, for sure, but then we like to stand out from the crowd.
With so many high quality entries the Trustees had a tricky time picking the winner but – after much deliberation – our congratulations go to Francesca Tucker of Trumpington.
Francesca wins a £25 book token – and here is her winning design.
