The Parochial Charities has submitted a planning application for the development of 21 almshouses.

Located on the Charity’s land at the end of More’s Meadow, the site is currently occupied by allotments which would be relocated and the adjacent More’s Field converted to landscaped public amenity space.

The Charity has no need to partner with a property developer or housing association. We would maintain control over the development, guaranteeing the homes remain under the Charity’s ownership in perpetuity for the benefit of the people of Great Shelford.
